MAGNUM CORNAS DOMAINE DE SAINT-PIERRE 2020 - MAISON PAUL JABOULET AINE

1,5 L Red Wine / France / Rhone / Cornas AOC / 15 % vol / 100% Syrah

EU organic farming
A legendary Cornas, sunny and elegant, ready to go in your cellar for years to come.
Atop the plateau, near the little chapel of Saint Peter, the south-exposed Syrah vines enjoy optimal sun, reinforced by the particularly high temperatures of this vintage. The result is a warm and powerful Cornas with a nose that is highly characteristic of its appellation (red and black fruits, violet, spices, black olive), with the addition of impressive ageing potential. Already sophisticated and elegant, it presents unctuous tannins that should become even more refined with time. A real joy for lovers of Cornas... especially those with patience!

PAUL JABOULET AINE

Created in 1834 by Antoine Jaboulet, this house was then taken over by his sons: Paul and Henri Jaboulet. In 2006, the Frey family, from along ancestry of champagne winegrowers and also the owner of the famous Château la Lagune, bought the Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné with the ambition to reconnect the once successful house of the 1990s with connoisseurs worldwide. Caroline Frey, oenologist, ensured the successful recovery of property, and helped marry talent and new production techniques with a respect for ancient methods and wisdom. Traditional vineyard work and respect for the environment which produces our wine by leaning on sustainable agriculture consolidates this Maison as a producer of wines marked with a true identity and has thus allowed the continuity of this of this iconic Rhône Valley house
