I love this Pinot Noir with its beautiful typicity: mineral and small red fruit notes emerge from the glass. It has a nice freshness in the mouth, an enveloping and juicy structure, with a controlled acidity. Quite simply a delight!more reviews

Another way to taste a Pinot Noir, a unique style, between Burgundy and Oregon according to the critics. To be discovered!
Outside Burgundy, the famous Pinot Noir grape variety has been registered for over 200 years in the Hautes Pyrénées department (Château Montus). "The first re-planting of Pinot Noir in the South West of France was carried out by Alain Brumont in 1996. It took 10 years of vinification and testing to find a style that Alain Brumont demanded: the Pinot Noir of Château Bouscassé. It is a Pinot Noir from the South-West of France, with its own character and a very fine texture. We find the characteristics of the grape variety: aromas of cherry, Morello cherry, and small red fruits. On the palate, the structure is elegant, well constructed, a wine with character and a beautiful identity of the terroir of Château Bouscassé. This Pinot Noir from the South-West of France goes well with trout or veal with orange zest for example!

BOUSCASSE (Château)

Owned for generations by the family of the inimitable Alain Brumont, Château Bouscassé has given back to appellations lacking in visibility (Madiran, Pacherenc-du-vic-Bilh) a second life. Taking advantage of the unique typicity of the Château's terroirs, the flagship grape varieties of the South-West (notably Tannat) are magnified here. Between elegance and voluptuousness, the estate thus offers remarkably precise and charming cuvées. Definitely THE reference in the wines of its appellation!
