LEAVE YOUR REVIEWRiesling is back in fashion and this version is well made if a little on the light side.
Clean varietal perfume and balanced flavours of a classic Riesling .
I would pay more next time for a more powerful bottle.
The Riesling des Chasseurs de Lune 2019 from Bestheim is a delightful discovery! Its exquisite balance of flavors and aromas makes it a true gem. What's even more impressive is the exceptional value for its quality. A fantastic choice for those seeking a great wine without breaking the bank!
The wine is already a little decadent and has lost the expressiveness of its youth, drinkable if chilled.
This Riesling offers a very fine bouquet with mineral and floral nuances. Beautiful intensity, with lots of fruit and freshness. It is a gastronomic wine par excellence!
Thick Riesling. Citrusy nose with a marked green part. In the mouth it is immediately characterised by its marked minerality, freshness and structure. Perfect for summer drinking.
A good Alsatian Riesling. Rather simple, marked by classic notes of green apple and citrus fruits, but pleasant. In the mouth it is fresh without being sour and this facilitates pairing with food.
Delicious, this wine seems to me moderately loaded with sodium bisulfite because I don't sneeze after tasting! This is often a problem with wines, mainly reds...
A good Riesling, dry, quite fragrant and floral with a touch of acidity. Ideal as an aperitif or with seafood. I recommend this wine and will buy more.
I recommend this wine, it has mineral and floral nuances that went wonderfully with our dishes. I think it deserves my score of 16.
Nice colour, we enjoyed it as an aperitif, I think it will also go well with shellfish and maybe a cheese like Munster. Suitable price
I tried it with a French vegan foie-gras, an exciting combination, suitable for a variety of dishes, both fresh and structured. Perhaps I would like more body, to prolong the sensation for a long time
Excellent Alsace Riesling, get 2 bottles now because it can accompany you from aperitif to main course of fish without any problems, possibly also a main course of white meat
This is my favourite wine from this brand, suitable for holidays as well as for a dinner with friends. Slightly sweet taste, delicately fruity wine, with citrus notes.
A very good Alsatian white wine as you would expect. Dry but fruity with power on the palate. I recommend it as an aperitif or with fish. A must try!
Straw yellow in colour, very intense floral on the nose. On the palate it is very citrusy and extremely savoury. Very acidic wine with contrasting flavours
Cellar with no need for introduction, elegant wine with a delicate nose. The serving temperature is important for the floral notes to make themselves felt in the mouth.
Excellent surprise with this Riesling. The quality to price ratio is very surprising, as there are more expensive Rieslings that are not worth it. Very pleasant as an aperitif!
Alsatian Riesling, needless to say. Vintage 2019 intense and persistent aromas, especially in the back nose. Highly recommended, you can never go wrong!
Disappointing compared to the Riesling Fritz Willi, not great for an aperitif. Best served with a cheese fondue, which I recommend drinking with a more typical wine.
The Bestheim winery confirms itself with this wine as simply a security. Typicality, freshness, minerality and even on the finish a pleasant hint of benzene that characterises the wines of the region.
A well-balanced, fruity white wine. Delicious with trout en papillote, lemon rosemary butter! Drink now or keep for no more than 1 or 2 years.
Intense aroma of green apple and peach notes of citrus fruits, distinct minerality, stone but also hints of hydrocarbons. Recommended pairings with seafood, oysters, oily fish.
Straw-yellow with greenish reflections. Classic tertiary scents typical of Alsatian rieslings on the nose. Great sapidity. A nice discovery at an incredible price.
This Reisling is of good quality, with no surprises and very smooth on the palate. You can drink it with potée, sauerkraut or other autumnal dishes.
For lovers of Alsatian wines and Crémants, Bestheim is a cooperative cellar not to be missed. It brings together five Alsatian wineries, namely Bennwihr, Westhalten, Obernai, Sigolsheim and Kientzheim-Kaysersberg. Representing the Alsatian vineyards with pride, this wine estate is run by the famous Chasseurs de Lune (The Moon Hunters). These winegrowers with the intriguing nickname aspire to always go further in producing authentic and sincere wines that make them proud.
