LEAVE YOUR REVIEWWe purchased this wine for every day drinking in our back garden during the summer. We very much enjoyed this wine – particularly, with a little chill on the bottle / the wine. It is a very pleasant, light wine to drink with flavours of spice and herbs on the palate.
Tastes quite young and clear. Not particularly nuanced but very easy to drink. A good example of a Ventoux where the Grenache and Syrah balance very well.
Love it! Not a complex wine but still has it's characteristic "mountain air" purity. This is the 3rd vintage I've had and it well deserves the gold medal. Fleshy on the tongue with red fruits, subtle spice, vanilla from the oak. It's a 2020: hints of the "young Syrah" hidden by the Grenache.
The winemaker Julien Cornud, also a nurseryman, is a lover of his terroir. Its vines are located in Caromb, a small village on the foothills of Mont Ventoux. Its vineyard has the particularity of being strewn with pieces of flint, which gives it specific aromas, smoky notes and minerality.
