BRUNELLO DI MONTALCINO RISERVA 2015 - CASISANO

This wine comes from a selection of the best exposed and highest quality plots in the Podere Casisano vineyard. Situated in the hills south-east of Montalcino, the maturity and freshness of the grapes have produced a wine that combines structure, elegance and harmony. The colour is deep ruby and intense with garnet reflections, the wine offers a fine and complex nose, where the fruit mingles with sweet spices due to its long ageing. On the palate, it is austere, with ripe and velvety tannins producing an excellent balance between great structure and elegance. The finish is fresh and harmonious. Its full-bodied but elegant style makes it ideal for accompanying rich dishes such as red meats, braised meats and game, especially when served with mushrooms or truffles. Also excellent with matured cheese.
