CUVEE CENT - LES ARBOUSIERS 2019 - GERARD BERTRAND

0,75 L Red Wine / France / Languedoc-Roussillon / Corbieres AOC / 14,5 % vol

A hundred-year-old plot planted by Paule Bertrand. The perfect representation of the unique know-how of the Bertrand family!
It all began on the mythical terroir of Boutenac where Paule Bertrand, Gérard's grandmother, planted the first Carignan vines in 1920. Located in the heart of the Corbières appellation, Cuvée Cent is a sublime example of Carignan, the region's emblematic grape variety. It is a very complex wine with a mix of black fruits and spices. There is a beautiful substance, very dense but with an incredible softness. The 18 months of maturing makes the pleasure last with a long and rich finish.
