Dominated by fruit, the nose reveals beautiful notes of raspberries, redcurrants and spices. On the palate, we find a full, round structure with some woody notes. The finish is beautifully fresh. A very nice organic Bordeaux ready to drink from a very nice vintage!more reviews

With Origine, a whole world of elegance is offered to you!
La Chapelle Berard is a 55 hectare estate located on the slopes of the right bank of the Dordogne, in the Pays Foyen, and has been managed organically since 2001. Jean-Christophe Mauro, the winemaker, believes that not all vintages lend themselves to the level of excellence required for this cuvée. Only grapes from a great vintage can withstand the fine work of winemaking that goes into this cuvée. This vintage is worthy of the finest wines of Bordeaux, the nose is largely dominated by the Cabernet, which develops on black fruits, with touches of spices (white pepper). The Merlot takes over on the palate, with a round, full, dense and well-structured attack and finish. The finesse of this wine makes it possible to make daring combinations such as with fatty fish, or more classic combinations with dishes with more powerful flavours.
