CHATEAU BRANE-CANTENAC 2018 - SECOND CRU CLASSE

0,75 L Red Wine / France / Bordeaux / Margaux AOC / 13,5 % vol

Interaction of red and black fruits, beautiful soft tannins and a long and fragrant finish. Impressive!
In the heart of the sumptuous Margaux terroir, Château de Brane-Cantenac is run with conviction by Henri Lurton. The fabulous summer naturally resulted in an exceptional vintage. It has a deep, dark colour with purple hues. The intense nose harmoniously blends woody, spicy, fruity and floral notes and reveals its great complexity with aeration. The wine is concentrated and has a strong body. It is beautifully balanced. The tannins have a grainy, silky texture and are coated, giving the wine great elegance. Definitely a Brane for long ageing in a vintage with great potential.

CHATEAU BRANE-CANTENAC

Having taken over the estate from his father, Lucien, in 1992, Henri Lurton implemented the fruits of his extensive training and his experience in vineyards across the world. His family's connection with this place was formed by his great-grandfather in 1922. Having weathered generous and more modest years, strong and weak economic conditions, the family remains faithful to the well-defined style that has not been altered by various trends. Château Brane-Cantenac built its name on the 80-hectare vineyard, split into several parcels. One of them, the largest, is located in front of the château and borders the fine hilltop of the Graves appellation.
