ATEO SANT'ANTIMO 2020 - CIACCI PICCOLOMINI D'ARAGONA

0,75 L Red Wine / Italy / Tuscany / Sant’Antimo DOC / 14 % vol

Intense, full-bodied and elegant, this is a perfect introduction to the estate for a very fair price considering the quality of the taste!
Ateo is the entry-level wine of the renowned Ciacci estate, it is in the same line as the great cuvées, more fresh and ready to drink. It is just as balanced and elegant, in the image of the estate producing wines of character. The nose is intense, with red fruits such as cherry and redcurrant. The palate is both ripe, full-bodied and fresh, very balanced, with a long and aromatic finish. It is without doubt an excellent value for money and a very good introduction to the wines of the estate.

CIACCI PICCOLOMINI D'ARAGONA

The Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona estate is located in the municipality of Montalcino in the middle of the gentle hills of Tuscany. A family estate since 1983. Today managed by Paolo Bianchini and his sister Lucia. They produce very high quality wines in cooperation with the oenologist Paolo Vagaggini. 40 hectares of vines are planted in schist and marl soils. The estate has a solid reputation as a specialist in the Brunello appellation. Most of the estate's vineyards are planted with Sangiovese clones, but French grape varieties Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon are also grown here.
