GRAN LURTON BLANCO 2020 - BODEGA PIEDRA NEGRA

0,75 L White Wine / Argentina / Mendoza / Uco Valley / 14,5 % vol

EU organic farming
Full-bodied, lively with a smooth texture. Concentrated on the palate with a long, savoury finish, fantastic!
The red cuvée having been an immediate success, we are delighted to present this white Gran Lurton, made in the same spirit of excellence and finesse as its counterpart. Hand-picked, it is aged on the lees with regular batonnage in barrel, only Tockaij is aged in French oak barrels for 9 months. Its yellow colour with green reflections is representative of its grape variety Tockaij. Fresh nose of lime and herbs, touches of vanilla and hazelnut, well balanced and woody. It is supple on the palate and slightly rich on the finish.

PIEDRA NEGRA (Bodega)

Born from the intention of the Lurton brothers to confront the heights of the Argentinian plateaus of Mendoza, the Bodega Piedra Negra produces typical, fine and elegant wines. The origin of the name of this domaine (which translates in English as "black stone") comes from the very dark earth which constitutes the foot of the Andean mountains and which contrasts with the white snows of the summits. From the outset, this name evokes the difficult conditions in which these delicious wines are produced (height of the plateaus at an altitude of 1,100 meters and therefore high thermal amplitude, semi-desert climate.)
