A very nice complexity, freshness and balance!
The estate is now co-managed by Dominique Derain, an absolute legend of the natural Bourgogne world. This master of Pinot Noir here exercises his talents as a winemaker in a wine that still requires some aeration to become more pleasant. The nose is very subtle, the register is "natural" with some sweet spices and red fruit. On the palate it appears quite complex, with good density and a beautifully toned frame bringing pleasant freshness. Aromas of fruits and leather come together with some persistence. This wine will appeal to curious lovers of good quality natural wines!
