LEAVE YOUR REVIEWIn glass - clear pale yellow and green reflexions - in looks extremly fresh. Nose - some herbs, some fruit - light and jolly. In mouth - medium acidity, light body, gooseberry, green apple, grass, asparagus. Indeed very fresh, high acidity, pleasant.
The name of the Rimauresq estate is a shortening of Real Mauresque, the Maures river. Right at the heart of the Provençal wine region, this estate is located at the foot of Notre-Dame des Anges and its vineyard extends over 50 hectares of shale, sandstone and rolled pebbles. These exceptional conditions make it possible to retain the best of the fruit from the vine and give these wines a singular character. In 1988, the Wemyss family invested in this estate to implement their quality approach. They redesigned the vineyard by building a wine-making cellar and a tasting room amongst other structures. Rimauresq offers two complete ranges:- the first classic wine is a blend of Cinsault, Tibouren, Grenache and Syrah for the rosé wines, and a mix of 90% Rolle and 10% Ugni Blanc for the white wines. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan, Syrah and Mourvèdre for the red wines.- the second, named R, is the domaine's jewel in the crown, made from 70% Grenache old vine stock for its rosé wines. Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah for its reds and 85% Rolle for its white wines. This domaine, located in the Var region, plays an essential role in the wine-making landscape of Provence. The typical grape varieties used have limited yields and are cultivated with respect for the environment. Discover this domaine that's brimming with delights and treat yourself to a Grand Cru Classé from Provence with irresistible flavours!
