LEAVE YOUR REVIEWAn unusual grape variety but a lot of fun to drink! The wine is supple and offers a nice fruitiness, perfect for your meals with friends!
The Domaine, located in St Vincent de Mercuze, has borrowed its name from the inhabitants of the village: indeed, they are called the Rutissons. The Grésivaudan valley, and in particular the slopes of the right bank, have always been home to vine growing. At its peak, wine production could reach 100,000 hl. The commune of St Vincent de Mercuze was home to one of these wine cellars, and the presence of the vine is anchored in its history. Thus, in the communal archives, from 1780 onwards, the notion of a harvest ban appears. Then, in the communal archives of 3 July 1786, there is mention of "... carts and wagons going up to the neighbouring vineyards..." Finally, isn't St Vincent the patron saint of winegrowers?
