Pedesclaux has been known for some years as having the same dynamism of the Pontet Canet in the 1990s! Robert Parker
With a deep, intense, almost black colour, it reveals a nose of great complexity, with smoky notes, blackcurrant, chocolate and nutmeg. After swirling, it gains in intensity and reveals notes of cherries and blueberries. On the palate it starts off full, thick and eager, with tannins of great fineness. A complex fruit accompanies the palate, which ends on notes of milk caramel and freshly roasted cocoa.

CHÂTEAU PEDESCLAUX

Château Pédesclaux, classified Fifth Growth, is located north of Pauillac. The castle has a 42 ha vineyard on gravel soils on clay subsoil. It was acquired in 2009 by Jacky and Françoise Lorenzetti. The new owners have only one goal: to make the best wine possible. The château is engaged in organic farming and some plots are cultivated biodynamically. The wines embody the density of Pauillac, tempered by a singular pleasure, and impose a remarkable value for money.
