LEAVE YOUR REVIEWComplex and well-balanced, this second wine from Malartic-Lagravière offers a remarkable amplitude. A wine of great elegance and delicacy, to be enjoyed in the years to come!
Domaine de Lagravière has always been known for its quality of terroir and its famous "island" of gravel. The Château was renamed to Malartic-Lagravière in honour of Count Hippolyte de Malartic - Admiral to the King of France and owner of the domaine in in the 18th century. Bought at the end of 1996 by Michèle and Alfred-Alexandre Bonnie, Château Malartic-Lagravière was then completely renovated. All the right conditions came together so that the wines could fulfil their place among the Premiers Grands Crus of Bordeaux. Together with the quality terroir and vineyard, innovative, high-performance equipment was made available to use in the traditional wine-making processes supported by an engaged, passionate team. Well-known across the world for its powerful and complex, refined and elegant wines, Château Malartic-Lagravière is one of only six classified Bordeaux wines - both white and red.
