Marcel Lapierre, who passed away in 2010, was an enthusiast of natural wines and one of the most emblematic winemakers of the Beaujolais region. Today, it is his wife and son Mathieu (a former chef) who perpetuate the philosophy and the quality of the wines of the estate. The vines, which are about sixty years old, are cultivated biodynamically and the fermentation is done without sulphur. These natural, unfiltered and unprotected wines must therefore be kept at cellar temperature because of the risk of deviation. This does not prevent the wines of the Marcel Lapierre estate from commanding a little more respect with each vintage!
