Known for several centuries as giving unique wines, the estate produces wines that combine both great fruity and intense flavours, with a finesse on the palate, long and persistent. DR. THANISCH

The Dr. H. Thanisch estate dates back to the 1800s when the Thanisch family settled along the Mosel to operate their first vineyard. Since the beginning of the 19th century, the domaine has fought great fame beyond the borders of the country and this thanks to the historical owner of the domain: the doctor of philosophy, Hugo Thanisch. Since then, the estate has always remained in the hands of the family and today belongs to Mechtild Thanisch. The vineyard is exclusively planted with Riesling and belongs to the absolute elite of the greatest and most fascinating German white wines in the world.
