The Chiroulet estate is located in the heart of Gers, on the highest slopes of Gascony at an altitude of 180 meters. In 1993, Philippe Fezas was the fifth generation to take over the reins of this family estate. The vineyard has 40 hectares on a clay-limestone base, some plots of which are predominantly fine clay, reminiscent of the Saint-Emilion coast. A pioneer in the production of Gascon red wines, today the total production of the domain counts 40% of red wines. Chiroulet produces wines of character with good structure and depth. For many critics, the estate's wines are among the most successful of the appellation.
