It's great to be able to get Chateau Pierrail again. The latest vintage has the wonderful elderflower aroma exhibited by earlier vintages llike 2013.
Far more subtle and interesting than other Bordeaux sauvignon blancs at a similar price.
Maybe the Sauvignon Gris gives it this complexity?

Elegant and expressive, this wine has a great aromatic richness!
The successful blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sauvignon Gris combines the aromatic richness of the first to the finesse of the second. The result is a fruity, spicy and floral wine that reveals slight mentholated notes. The intense, textured and lively palate reveals a round white wine of great aromatic persistance. A great feeling of freshness!

CHATEAU PIERRAIL

17th century castle, surrounded by a park, owned by the Demonchaux family (Jacques, Alice, Aurélien) since 1970. Château Pierrail is a vast area of 250 hectares, a veritable haven of greenery with its rural park and its gardens, adjoining the rows of vines and walnut orchards... while respecting the environment.
