ERDENER TREPPCHEN 2020 - BISCHÖFLICHE WEINGÜTER TRIER

0,75 L White Wine / Germany / Mosel / Mosel / 11,5 % vol / 100% Riesling

It offers a clear, bright and intense bouquet of ripe fruit. Persistent and elegant!
The vineyards of Erden, located on the other side of the Mosel, give the vines an undeniable spiciness and a powerful character. The result of this optimal climate is wines of quality and style. Selective harvesting and gentle treatment of the grapes are the basis for all Riesling wines from this unique vineyard. Erdener Treppchen is both spicy and sweet, with floral and fruity notes on the nose as well as on the palate. Fresh and lively, then slightly tight with a little acidity, this Riesling is gripping and persistent, terroir-driven, with an intense and elegant finish that is challenging, fine and clean. A wine full of qualities, to be discovered and tasted!

Bischöfliche Weingüter Trier

The Bischöfliche Weingüter Trier estate was born from the union of 3 renowned German estates unified in 1966: Bischöfliches Konvikt (created in 1840), Bischöfliches Priesterseminar (created in 1773) and Hohe Domkirche (created in 1851). This association has enabled the estate to shine all over the world thanks to the reputation of its known plots and sought after by all the great amateurs. The complexity of these terroirs lies in this harmony typical of the Mosel: sloping slopes, soils dominated by slate and an optimal climate for the maturity of Riesling. The estate preserves all the traditions of local viticulture-oenology, while applying the principles of sustainable and reasoned agriculture where the vines, the environment and the soils are respected. The Bischöfliche Weingüter Trier estate is an absolute reference in Mosel!
