RIESLING KABINETT FEINHERB KANZEMER ALTENBERG 2020 - BISCHÖFLICHE WEINGÜTER TRIER

0,75 L White Wine / Germany / Mosel / Mosel / 10 % vol / 100% Riesling

"This is a charmingly round and fruity Saar Riesling from a spectacular, steep cru." Robert Parker
The vineyard is located on a steep slope. Like no other, the Kanzemer Altenberg captures the sun's rays and stores them in its barren slate soil. This is how the grapes of the highest maturity are produced, carefully picked and selected by hand, offering intense and persistent aromas. At the tasting, it is a mineral wine that we discover, fruity and elegant with a lot of singularity. Beautiful intense saline aromas and a nice length on the palate soften everything and make the finish both exquisite and delicate. Character and softness come together to offer a tasting pleasure!

Bischöfliche Weingüter Trier

The Bischöfliche Weingüter Trier estate was born from the union of 3 renowned German estates unified in 1966: Bischöfliches Konvikt (created in 1840), Bischöfliches Priesterseminar (created in 1773) and Hohe Domkirche (created in 1851). This association has enabled the estate to shine all over the world thanks to the reputation of its known plots and sought after by all the great amateurs. The complexity of these terroirs lies in this harmony typical of the Mosel: sloping slopes, soils dominated by slate and an optimal climate for the maturity of Riesling. The estate preserves all the traditions of local viticulture-oenology, while applying the principles of sustainable and reasoned agriculture where the vines, the environment and the soils are respected. The Bischöfliche Weingüter Trier estate is an absolute reference in Mosel!
