Power and suppleness are one in this Crozes-Hermitage Terre d'Eclat! Although already velvety on its youth, this cuvée has a safeguard potential! I recommend leaving this wonder for a few years in the cellar before enjoying it with a nice piece of meat.more reviews

The Domaine de la Ville Rouge was created by Paul Girard in 1919 and is located in the heart of the Crozes-Hermitage appellation, in the commune of Mercurol on the left bank of the Rhône river. Creating expressive and authentic wines is the motto of the estate which, through its rigour, its commitment and its respect for nature and the terroir, offers us unique and high-quality tasting moments. This Crozes-Hermitage Terre d'Eclat has a lovely supple structure, velvety tannins, and a lovely slightly spicy finish. A superb quality/price ratio for this great cuvée!
