The appellation in the making in Burgundy! Still far too underrated for my taste, this Saint Aubin 1er Cru is a beauty which, remains in the memory. The Chardonnay is sublimated in the most beautiful way!more reviews

A creamy texture, great freshness and a superb finish for this Saint Aubin 1er Cru!
Located in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, between Chassagne-Montrachet and Puligny-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin is one of those great Burgundian names. Domaine Bertrand Bachelet offers us a wine that is intensely mineral and full of tension. It is a dense wine on the palate that perfectly combines substance and tension. Ideal for the aperitif, this bottle will go very well with firm-textured fish or shellfish.

BERTRAND BACHELET

It was the passion for wine that led Bertrand Bachelet to take over the family estate in 2011, following his father, Jean-Louis. He represents the fourth generation of a line of excellent Burgundy winegrowers. Today, Bertrand operates 13 hectares spread over the Côte de Beaune, from Les Maranges to Pommard. The farm is based in Dezize-les-Maranges, one of the three villages of the Maranges appellation. This appellation represents the largest production in the domain. Bertrand continues the family tradition with passion, with the aim of producing high quality wines, while relying on new techniques from modern viticulture and oenology. The objective is to make the best possible use of each terroir in order to produce a range of rich and diverse wines.
