CHÂTEAU PESQUIE

A family adventure spanning three generations. In the early 1970s, first with Odette and René Bastide who bought Château Pesquié to create their first AOC Ventoux in 1973. Edith & Paul, daughter and son-in-law of René & Odette decided in the mid-1980s to give up their medical careers to take over the family business. After having acquired many diplomas, they bring real added value! In 1989 the quartet finally decided to leave the local cooperative to create the cellar of Château Pesquié and make their first vinification on a fabulous vintage! 1990 ! Birth of "Quintessence"! Even today, if you have the chance to taste it, you will be surprised by its freshness !! Since 2003, the two sons of Paul and Edith, Alexandre and Frédéric, have taken up the torch and continue with the same concern for the expression of the Ventoux terroir. Today, Château Pesquié is one of the flagship estates of the appellation and of the southern Rhône, and this generation intends to maintain the "Sacred Fire".
