A good balance of Carignan - grenache that get a nice dark fruits taste. A good line of acidity that straighten a bit the syrah. A slight bitterness finish. excellent bargain overall.more reviews

A wine that is different from the others in Jeff Carrel’s range: a little gem to discover and share with friends without delay!
While the vineyards of the wild lands of Roussillon were going to be pulled down after 150 years of cultivation, Jeff Carrel and his associate Sébastien Calduch undertook a crazy project to revive this land hidden deep in Occitan. But for this it was necessary to have a global vision of the project. Because reviving the land also means finding accommodation for the growers and thus breathing life into the village by revitalizing public spaces such as the school of café, or maintaining roads, flora and fauna in agreement with local farmers. Jeff Carrel’s characteristic eccentricity is channelled into this serious wine that reflects the commitment and passion of its two creators. Be transported by this wine bursting with character and history, designed with old vines that are in part about 90 years old. You will be won over by its intensity with finesse and fruit.

JEFF CARREL

"Eclectic winemaker", this is how Jeff Carrel defines himself. This oenologist, who can turn his hand to anything spreads his adivices in the vineyards, as well as in the winery or marketing strategy. In 2007 he sets up his own consulting firm in identity communication to assist wineries to enhance their specific features and productions. He then builds a very specific wine range with strong personality.
