LEAVE YOUR REVIEWVery good white wine, enjoyed by my wife for several years, I recommend it every year for the whole family who enjoy it every year with satisfaction.
The vineyard is located in the commune of Bourré in the Cher in the Loire wine appellation. The lands of Vallagon were once part of the Chenonceau estate and extended to the place called "Les Drageonnières". On the site of the current castle was located in the 16th century, a manor house transformed in the 19th century by a wealthy bourgeois, into a stone house of Bourré surrounded by woods and vines where he had a press installed in 1864. In 1912, Monsieur Lucien Meyer buys this agricultural property which will be operated by one of his sons. The Sauvignon from Château Vallagon which is produced there today is a fruity, floral wine full of freshness. It also produces a fruity and light red wine.
