This wine seeks to reward the wine lover with a balanced, elegant wine of distinction that has a rare finesse!
Before planting his Pinot Noir, the winemaker - the great Swiss vintner Jean-Claude Martin - took painstaking care over the aspect, sun and orientation of the rows. And he selected one of the best cultivars for its adaptation to the South-African terroir. Fermentation is traditional, followed by malolactic fermentation in barrels. Aged for 12 months. Gentle filtering before bottling. Very fragrant, the nose brings together seductive red fruits with notes of vanilla and wood spice. The flavours follow on the elegant palate where the refined raspberry and mushroom flavours are supported by soft tannins.

CREATION

It is in the Western Cape region of South Africa a few steps from the sea that the prestigious wine-growing area of Walker Bay is located. Located between the mountains and the ocean, it enjoys a climate particularly favorable to the production of great wines with a fabulous balance. It is therefore in the heart of this vineyard paradise that Jean-Claude Martin, famous Swiss oenologist, and his wife Carolyn built their estate, Creation, there in 2002. Today, their winery is widely recognized by international critics offering wines with great finesse, sincere and in the image of the terroir on which they are produced. Here is a model of South African wine estate to follow very closely.
