CHAMBOLLE MUSIGNY - VIEILLES VIGNES 2018 - DOMAINE ROUX PERE ET FILS

0,75 L Red Wine / France / Burgundy / Chambolle-Musigny AOC / 13 % vol / 100% Pinot noir

"Medium body. Subtle finish. Delicious already." James Suckling
Established in the village of Saint-Aubin in the Côte d'Or, the Roux family has been cultivating vines since 1885. It is with respect for the land and nature that the purity of the fruit is brought to the fore, thus revealing the unique character of the terroirs. Already ready to drink, this Chambolle-Musigny vieilles vignes offers us a remarkable tasting: this nectar with its colour reveals harmoniously woody, black cherry, plum and mineral notes, all on a long and delicate finish. A beautiful harmony which suggests that this cuvée has good ageing potential. To the amateurs, you will not be disappointed!

DOMAINE ROUX PÈRE ET FILS

Created in 1855, this Burgundian domaine which combines property and trading is currently managed by the fourth generation. Sébastien and Matthieu Roux carry on the family tradition and manage 65 hectares of the vineyard spread over 13 villages of the Côte d'Or, Côtes de Nuits and the Côte Chalonnaise. The Roux family played a big role in the recognition of Saint-Aubin and the worldwide fame of this appellation owes it a lot!
