CHATEAU MARGAUX 2016 - 1ER CRU CLASSÉ

0,75 L Red Wine / France / Bordeaux / Margaux AOC / 13,5 % vol

"A firm texture of silt-fine tannins, finishing wonderfully fragrant and incredibly long." Robert Parker
Dominating the entire Margaux appellation with remarkable consistency, Château Margaux produces wines that have become mythical because of their rare combination of finesse with density and freshness with opulence. The nose of this Château Margaux is particularly delicate, complex and deep. On the palate, the wine has incredible volume, smoothness and above all length. It is the large parcels of Cabernet Sauvignon that give this wine its elegance: they represent almost 94% of the blend. The Merlot and Cabernet Franc bring a great deal of complexity to the wine, both aromatically and thanks to the softness of their tannic structure. Finally, the Petit Verdot, despite its small proportion, brings considerable volume and density. This vintage of great freshness is the beginning of a fabulous ageing period. It is an exceptional wine!
