What a pleasant surprise, I did not expect such a good wine with a roundness that will delight all palates, even the less educated. I did not feel the need to age it. I recommend it!more reviews

One to try without delay. Lovers of Pessac-Léognan will relish this much talent at such a lovely price!
Owned by André Lurton, an iconic figure of the appellation, this château takes its name from the Gascon 'Couchyroy', meaning 'sleeping king': legend has it that the future king Henry IV of France sought refuge there one stormy night! This supple and fruity Pessac-Léognan possesses both the elegance and the delicacy that characterise this area of the Graves region in Bordeaux... Delicious and harmonious, this superb vintage is a top deal for lovers of the appellation... Try it without delay!

CHATEAU COUCHEROY

Belonging to the André Lurton house, Château Coucheroy is located in the municipalities of Martignac and Léognan, to the south of Bordeaux. The vines, on average 10 to 12 years old and growing on gravel soil with a clay subsoil, are always carefully maintained by André Lurton, an eternally emblematic figure of the Pessac-Léognan appellation, who maintains the essential link between tradition and modernity.
