LEAVE YOUR REVIEWWe were slightly disappointed in this example. It didn't have that typical unique "body" associated with Gewurztraminer. Perfectly drinkable but not the best.
Pale yellow color on the glass. Nice tropical fruit, with peach, honey and hints of citrus. On the palate a bunch of lychee with pineapple dipped in honey. Good length with some creamy notes. Lovely Gewurztraminer, with a mild sweetness and high acidity.
Absolutely delicious and beautifully balanced acidity. A little on the sweet side and not overpowering Gewürztraminer flavours. Enjoy a lightly chilled glass on its own or perfect with Foie Gras.
Bold, very fruity but dry enough for a variety of tastings. Fish, exotic cuisine, foie gras... An exceptional quality to price ratio.
A good quality Gewurztraminer. To be enjoyed as an aperitif, as a starter with foie gras or with a dessert. I tasted it with friends as an aperitif for its powerful, delicate, aromatic and fruity side. I would recommend it.
Class: everything to please, a good taste of grapes, slightly sparkling on the tip of the tongue, enough to lose your train of thought when you taste it in the presence of guests?
A very well-made gewurztraminer. It won over the whole family. In the respect of what one can expect from this grape variety. It holds up well.
I like to taste the gewurtztraminer during aperitif, it always makes its effect on the guests and launches in a nice way the evening between friends
A Gewurztraminer very rich in olfactory aromas, it has a beautiful yellow colour. On the palate, it is a delight, one has the impression of tasting a very subtle tangy candy.
A surprisingly sweet Alsatian wine. Litigation and honey notes make it atypical and ideal for exotic or powerful dishes. Ideal served chilled. Very nice discovery.
For my part, I found this Gewurztraminer quite classic. Very appreciated by the people around me. A very pleasant nose but ultimately too much in line with the palate: too much sugar for my taste.
A very good Gewurztraminer that will please both amateurs and novices. A beautiful length on the palate and an explosion of flavours. Perfect with a foie gras for the amateurs.
Sweet without excess with a nice length on the palate. On the palate, citrus fruits are present, but there is also a nice floral touch.
A fruity, slightly sweet wine. Good and surprising at the same time, a good alternative to a Sauternes to eat with richness. Was consumed with pleasure.
Although this is a great wine, a 2020 Gewürztraminer is starting to show some signs of fatigue. It nevertheless maintains its varietal character with stone fruits, lychees, roses and white pepper. Pleasant.
Very pleasant softness and freshness on a pan-fried liver, balanced and subtle between fruit and sugar, to be drunk preferably chilled at 7 to 8 degrees minimum.
This Gewurztraminer has a beautiful pale colour. The nose is intense. A very aromatic white wine that keeps a nice freshness. With foie gras at Christmas, it was a delight.
Very good. Christmas with the family with richness half-cooked. Everyone had more. Good length, apparent simplicity and real complexity. Good quality to price ratio.
Beautiful Gewurztraminer, very aromatic with a nice length on the palate. Rarely disappointed by the wines of the Schlumberger estate, a great classic of good Alsace wines.
A very well made Gewurztraminer. Conquered the whole family. A good wine for the aperitif. We served it with egg rolls and other Asian specialities. A success!
A very good Gewurztraminer. We opened it on New Year's Eve as an accompaniment to the aperitif, it is very aromatic. A beautiful explosion of flavours that pleased the guests.
Very good fruity Gewurztraminer, slightly sweet. Consumed with a fish waterzoi, a delight. Very much appreciated by all the guests. To be recommended without any hesitation.
Tasted with a dish of homemade sushi which it accompanied wonderfully. Beautiful golden colour. As in our house, one prefers dry whites and the other sweet ones. It offers an excellent compromise where everyone found their happiness.
A fresh and pleasant gewurztraminer. We find the typical aromas of the grape variety (rose, lychee) but without the heaviness and the "sweetness" that some vintages can have. Delicious with Asian cuisine.
A semi-dry delight to tantalise the taste buds. With its distinct notes of juicy grapefruit, exotic lychee and bewitching rose, it reveals all the typical aroma of a Gewurztraminer. Balanced between sweetness and freshness, it is sure to delight lovers of aromatic wines.
Great white wine to drink well chilled. In my opinion, it goes well with any kind of meal. For those who enjoy very fruity and sweet white wines, this wine will be a good choice.
A Gewurztraminer that holds its own. Strong and fruity. For lovers of sweet wines. A great alternative to champagne as an aperitif, or for any other occasion.
It remains a classic Guewurtz that can accompany all sorts of dishes, despite being rather flat for me. I was disappointed because I was expecting a little more body.
Located on the dizzying slopes of Guebwiller, in the south of Alsace, with 50° slopes and an altitude ranging from 250 to 390 metres, the Schlumberger vineyard on the mountainside is undoubtedly one of the most striking in Alsace. It has the great privilege of benefiting from a triple exposure to the sun: south-west, south, south-east. Guebwiller is the only commune in Alsace to boast 4 Grands Crus. Half of our vineyard, i.e. 70 hectares, is made up of these unique terroirs.
