GIGONDAS - SIGNATURE 2018 - GIGONDAS LACAVE

0,75 L Red Wine / France / Rhone / Gigondas AOC / 15 % vol

"The flagship wine of the domaine (...) Full-bodied and smooth (...) soft tannins on the finish, very promising!" R. Parker
What a great presence on the palate! THE benchmark in terms of a powerful wine, full of character, from the Rhône Valley! Our experts discovered impressive aromas blended with notes of liquorice, pepper, black fruit and fennel... Its tannins are silky and well blended. A surprising balance that moves on an endless finish with marked spices! It is a wine that has once again convinced us!

GIGONDAS LACAVE

The cellar is located in the heart of the Dentelles de Montmirail, in the town of Gigondas. The vineyard covers 260 hectares producing the Gigondas, Vacqueyras, Beaumes de Venise, not to mention the Côtes du Rhône, Villages and IGP wines. Since 1956, these harvesting winegrowers, ambassadors of the Rhône Valley Crus, cultivate their vines in a reasoned way to always respect the terroirs. The wines reflect these enthusiasts, proud of their values and their personality. Gigondas is one of the largest municipalities in Vaucluse, with fewer than 600 inhabitants, backing onto the Dentelles de Montmirail, a form of uplift of limestone slabs. Yesterday as today, there is still a fierce, militant desire to build from this land and to develop with other winegrowers a highly qualitative image of wines from these exceptional terroirs around the Dentelles de Montmirail.
