LEAVE YOUR REVIEWMedium body and high acidity, it exudes elegance and smoothness at its finest. A blend of oak, butter, vanilla, and refreshing citrus notes, offering a truly unique experience. While still (too) young, as both the woody and crisp characteristics make a powerful impression.
One of my favourite Meursaults - everything that you would want - and the 2020 will only get better with age. Even though it is still young, you can taste the butter and the pear and floral notes are apparent.
A Meursault Charmes with a good body but without opulence, typical butter and vanilla notes as well as a nice floral freshness on the nose and a mineral finish. Very good length.
A powerful, warm, round and rich wine. The opulence that we enjoy in Meursault. It deserves to be aged for a few years in the cellar in order to benefit from all these characteristics.
Burgundy with little minerality. Opulence and unctuousness. Aroma of toasted bread and butter croissant. One of the best wines of low Burgundy. Good quality to price ratio.
A beautiful bottle for a beautiful occasion. A classic of the appellation. Toasted brioche and butter, white flowers... Well balanced, a delight.
It's always a great pleasure to taste a Meursault from this estate!
An opulent, unctuous and highly aromatic wine. The best of Burgundy white wines
One of the best Meursault Charmes I've ever tasted. Rich, buttery and smoky: typical of the appellation. Exceptionally long on the palate, a real treat.
The Château de Meursault is a piece of history, its origin dates back to the 11th century. Its wine-growing part was only developed in the 19th century by the Serre family. Since then, it has been a mecca for tourism and Burgundian folklore, since every year the famous Paulée is celebrated there the day after the sale of the Hospices de Beaune. The estate was bought in 2012 by Olivier Halley, a descendant of a pioneer of large retailers, the Boisseaux family remaining the owner of the 60 hectare vineyard, 23 of which are first growths. The estate offers a wide range of appellations from the Côte de Beaune: Pommard, Puligny, Savigny, Beaune, Meursault...
