LEAVE YOUR REVIEWReference of the appellation. Spicy notes of black fruits with aspects of cooking and liquorice. Very good structure. To be kept for at least 5 years to perceive its full potential. A magnificent wine.
A reference for this appellation, this powerful wine is the perfect accompaniment to game, white or red meat. The 2019 vintage can only develop with some time in the cellar.
One of the appellation's benchmarks once again demonstrates its mastery of the Mourvèdre grape. The wine is concentrated, elegant and spicy. The finish is long but the wine will gain in complexity with a few years of bottle age.
Owned by the Tempier family since 1834, the vineyard won its first gold medal in 1885 under the drive of its ancestor, Léonie, who built the first cellar. Located at the heart of the Bandol appellation, the 38 hectares of Domaine Tempier are spread over numerous parcels - between the sea and steep, sun-drenched hillsides. Tempier is one of the rare family-run, wine-making maisons from the second half of the 19th century to have completely retained its authenticity. Life on the estate is lived according to the seasons, work on the vines, harvests and so on.
