CHATEAU HAUT-BAILLY 2007

0,75 L Red Wine / France / Bordeaux / Pessac-Léognan AOC / 12,5 % vol

The wine hits the palate with the profound elegance and purity!
Situated on one of the highest slopes in Graves, this Grand Cru Classé strives for excellence. Renowned for its exceptional elegance, the wine of Château Haut-Bailly is the fruit of a complex balance: elegant and tactile, powerful and supple, immediate and timeless. The vintage is no exception to the rule and offers a true tribute to the terroir of Haut-Bailly. The Cabernet Sauvignons are colourful, dense and powerful, and form the heart and body of the blend. Combined with the softness of the Merlot, they form a balanced and elegant vintage. On the nose, we find a beautiful bouquet typical of Pessac with aromas of black fruits, cedar and some mineral touches. The palate is impressive, intense, with superb substance and a beautiful minerality on the persistent finish. This mature wine will please the most discerning tasters!

CHÂTEAU HAUT-BAILLY

Located at the gates of Bordeaux, in the heart of the Pessac-Léognan appellation and on the land of the prestigious Crus Classés de Graves, Château Haut-Bailly has dominated, for more than four centuries, a 30 hectare vineyard in one single piece established on a basement of fossil stones and a soil of sand mixed with serious slides of the tertiary. The reputation of the cru, established during the 19th century, places it among the very best Bordeaux wines. Robert G. Wilmers, owner since 1998, continues with at the head of the vineyard Véronique Sanders, granddaughter of the owner of Château Haut-Bailly, a very demanding quality policy, with respect for the environment and thanks to methods combining modernity and tradition.
