LA SALLE DE CHATEAU POUJEAUX 2014 - SECOND WINE OF CHATEAU POUJEAUX

0,75 L Red Wine / France / Bordeaux / Moulis AOC / 13,5 % vol

This leading winery of the Moulis commune has put its name to a vintage of remarkable delicacy!!
Purchased not long ago by the Cuvelier family, the Château Poujeaux offers perfect regularity. True to its guiding principle, the estate easily has the makings of a Cru Classé... This alluring and voluminous vintage is a distinguished, tasty wine. Easy to drink when young, in the hands of the most patient among us it is also capable of a few years' ageing... A truly quaffable wine that's full of delicacy!

CHÂTEAU POUJEAUX

Moulis-en-Médoc AOC is an exceptional Cru Bourgeois. The single-piece vineyard at Château Poujeaux is to the north-east of Moulis, on the gravel mounds of Grand-Poujeaux. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot make up the lion's share of the estate's grape varieties, with Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc only representing 10% of the vines. The parcels are managed individually on this stunning terroir to respect the full personality of each parcel and each cultivar, lending a distinctive character to Château Poujeaux wine.
