ENIRA 2017 - BESSA VALLEY

0,75 L Red Wine / Bulgaria / Pazardjik / 14,5 % vol

A little Bulgarian marvel: Flavour and fine balance at a good price.
A beautiful, intensely ruby appearance. The nose gives off aromas of ripe cherry and notes of pear and plum jam. A hint of very ripe berries, almond and vanilla, all perfectly balanced. The tannins lend power and delicacy, giving way to superb length on the palate and an incredible finish. A discovery among Bulgarian wines that's not to be missed!

BESSA VALLEY

Domaine Bessa Valley is located in Bulgaria, land of archeology! The name of the Valley derives from the Tribe des Besses, reputed to be the most rebellious. It firmly guarded the sanctuary of Dionysus 2,500 years ago. Today, the population is very cosmopolitan and wine is an integral part of the culture. The estate is impressive (surface area of 205 ha including 140 ha of vines). The owner is none other than the Count Stephan Von Neipperg (owner of many large vineyards in Saint-Emilion). The estate enjoys a continental climate thanks to its position between the Rhodope mountain and the Maritsa river. Everything is done with the greatest respect for nature, people, the vine and its fruits.
