CHATEAU DU RUAU

The history of the estate begins in the twelfth century. The monks of Saint Martin de Tours settled on the site to cultivate the vines. The Cabernet Franc vine which adjoins the château is in perfect condition despite all these years. The soil is sandy and limestone, the vineyard enjoys perfect southern exposure, on a slope protected from the wind.
