CHENAS - COUP DOUBLE 2019 - DOMAINE THILLARDON

0,75 L Red Wine / France / Beaujolais / Chénas AOC / 13 % vol

AB (organic wine) Biodynamic EU organic farming
"Fleshy and charming, it is one of the most demonstrative wines in the range this year." Robert Parker
A true terroir wine, deep, fresh and mineral, this Chenas with delicate floral notes is a superb bottle to share! This Coup Double cuvée is grown on the Boccards parcel, a very granitic terroir worked biodynamically like the rest of the estate. Add to this quality terroir, a unique know-how, and the result is a dynamic and precise nectar, with chiselled tannins and a salivating finish. The name of this cuvée was inspired by the birth of twins to the two Thillardon brothers in 2018!

DOMAINE THILLARDON

Paul-Henri Thillardon, a winemaker like no other. He moved to Chenas at the age of 22 from scratch. This son of a winegrower has retained an unlimited curiosity, a bluffing daring and a communicative joie de vivre, make no mistake about it, he is also and above all a humble, hardworking, pragmatic and rigorous peasant, inhabited by the love and respect for the land, capable - starting from nothing - of becoming in just 5 years one, see, THE leader of this dormant appellation but with astonishing potential.
