CHATEAU LASCOMBES 2019 - SECOND CRU CLASSE

0,75 L Red Wine / France / Bordeaux / Margaux AOC / 14 % vol

“Truly magnificent”. James Suckling
With a deep purple colour and a thrilling blackcurrant bouquet with smoked earth, pencil lead and tobacco, the Chateau Lascombes hits the palate with a moderate to full body, an obvious minerality, mouth-filling and a great sense of elegance and purity. It is a beautiful wine that we can happily appreciate today but will keep for 25 to 30 years!

CHÂTEAU LASCOMBES

Owned by the MACSF Mutual Insurance Group since 2011, Château Lascombes, a very important property in the Margaux appellation, is straightforwardly seeking to achieve the level of a very good classified second growth. And the least we can say is that it got off to a good start! Thanks to the efficient management of Dominique Befve, the cru has made significant progress, offering full wines with a rare sweetness in Margaux. A château that is gaining more and more attention...
