CHÂTEAU HAUT-POUGNAN

In the heart of Entre-deux-Mers, near Créon, the vineyards of Château Haut-Pougnan extend over the slopes of the right bank of the Garonne, on superb clay-limestone and gravelly soils. The eastern and southern slopes are home to the Bordeaux Supérieurs red vineyards, the western slopes remain the domain of white wines. It is the clay-limestone nature of these soils that makes it possible to obtain very fine wines with such a subtle bouquet.
