CUVEE PARTICULIERE 2018 - CHATEAU LAMARTINE

0,75 L Red Wine / France / South West France / Cahors AOC / 13,5 % vol

Independent winemakers High Environmental Value certification
"It's subtly powerful with a good body and depth of fruit. Absolutely charming and elegant." - Georgina Hindle, Decanter -
A little Tannat, 10%, is blended with Malbec in this blend of intense colours and aromas. The deep purple colour is typical of the appellation and its nose is sharp and complex with notes of toast, spice, red fruits and a hint of mint. We find flavours of gingerbread, eucalyptus and a good structure on the palate with generous tannins. It is a rich, powerful wine with a good freshness of fruit at the finish - a wine to watch in the future!

CHATEAU LAMARTINE

Château Lamartine holds a special place in the Cahors vineyards. Its 37 hectares planted on the oldest terraces in the Lot valley benefit from a southern exposure, guaranteeing the good maturity of the Malbec. The Gayraud family, winegrowers for four generations on these clay and limestone terroirs, take great care in the cultivation of their vines and in the aging of their wines. Lise and Benjamin make up this fourth generation: “Our brother and sister Tandem is our strength, our terroirs are our wealth. Our idea: Ever more sustainable viticulture, ever finer wines." Lise & Benjamin
