LEAVE YOUR REVIEWBought this one after having tried the lovely Horgelus Colombard Sauvignon, but unfortunately it doesn't bear the comparison. Too sweet and deprived of aroma and depth. All in all a bit like syrup from canned peaches.
Excellent wine! I was very surprised when I tasted it, as I don't usually drink much wine from this region. A fresh wine, very fruity and extremely pleasant on the palate. A great discovery!
Never a bad surprise with this excellent fruity wine. All my friends are unanimous: they love it, especially as an aperitif. I highly recommend it.
How can I tell you, since I discovered this wine from the Côtes de Gascogne, I have literally fallen in love with it. For lovers of these wines, I recommend this "Bal des Papillons" with my eyes closed, admirable!
Very nice bottle both on the outside and inside! Light on the palate, with some fruit notes, it's a good aperitif or to drink with a board.
I loved this white wine, it is the equivalent of Tariquet Première Grives, it is sweet, very soft with subtle fruit flavours. I recommend it especially as an aperitif but it can also be enjoyed with meat and fish.
The 2018 was excellent and so is this 2019 vintage. I have rarely had a wine so good, so balanced, so rich and with melted tannins, beautiful. I recommend it every time.
Never disappointed with the "Bal des papillons", a light sweetness, not too sweet, not very dry, fruity, it can be enjoyed with a good raclette in Savoie, or a foie gras, or simply as an aperitif, always a few bottles in advance, always have some, it goes well with many things, I recommend it
I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by this bottle with its perfect balance between acidity and residual sugar. The aromas of ripe yellow fruit are spectacular. To fill the cellar
The 2021 vintage also impresses with its light sweetness and fruity finish. Well chilled, the wine is simply perfect and is also enjoyed with increasing enthusiasm by our friends.
Our favourite wine between friends, a perfect white wine, the perfect balance between dry and sweet: unrivalled, affordable, not overbearing. A treat in summer with a girlfriend. I love it, I recommend it.
This Bal des Papillons from Domaine Horgelus is still a safe bet. A sweet wine with a nice balance between sweetness and fruitiness. It is not a luscious wine and that's good!
This wine lives up to its name: a flight of sweet and slightly tangy flavours on the palate. All that was missing was the fruity flutter of wings during the aperitif.
This wine is a sure value for the aperitif! Its small taste of yellow fruits, exotic fruits. We appreciate the perfect balance between sugar and acidity. In short, a great quality to price ratio.
Great discovery! A very well-balanced, fruity, peppy white, surprising in this price range where many are often either sickening or acidic.
Great wine that I love for the aperitif. I highly recommend it. My friends have become fans too. It is sweet but not too sweet. It is similar to the Tariquet 1ère thrush but cheaper.
Easy to order, attractive price. Serious, fast and efficient delivery. I highly recommend it. Perfectly packaged, but should be enjoyed in moderation.
A white wine discovered in a restaurant, what a nice surprise, fruity but not too much, a nice aromatic complexity, I rushed to order it from Vinatis! Excellent quality to price ratio.
Sweet and gourmet pleasure wine. It is a real treat as an aperitif and fresh, and is good value for money. I recommend it and it will be part of my next order. To drink and share without hesitation.
Very surprised by this "Bal de Papillons" which turns out to be sweeter than we had imagined, after having tried the Colombard-Sauvignon from the Horgelus estate.
Excellent as an aperitif or with dessert. A pleasure wine that will surprise your guests. A very nice meeting that will turn into a friendship. I recommend it to food lovers.
After tasting a white wine from Horgelus, we tried the butterfly ball.
For those who like sweet and mellow white wines, go for it! If not, don't bother.
Horgelus is an exceptional sweet white wine. I highly recommend it.
Thank you again for this wonderful discovery.
One word: delicious! Smooth without being sweet! I am not an expert in wines, I rely on my taste alone! A wine for an aperitif with friends! I recommend it regularly.
Light and sweet white wine. We order it regularly because it is so popular. It is perfect as an aperitif and to accompany seafood.
For those who like a slightly sweet wine, this wine goes perfectly with foie gras or a fresh dessert. To be drunk chilled but not iced. I recommend it for its quality/price ratio.
Good product, attractively priced. For my palate, this wine has notes that are a little too sweet, making it not easy to match with dishes.
Very good value for money. Well worth the stars. This product is perfect for a successful aperitif with friends who love to enjoy a good white wine.
very good wine that we appreciate and accessible in price range, fruity
very fresh, easy to drink and for a quick and easy delivery
a delicious and very correct wine, drunk as an aperitif with friends. Some nice similarities with the Tariquet, and above all an excellent quality/price ratio
my favourite wine! I love it! not sweet, good aromas. I don't miss an opportunity to introduce it to my friends who appreciate it. I order it regularly.
A wonderful white wine, fine nose and powerful flavour. A great choice from Vinatis, well done! And an interesting price/quality ratio. To put on your tables as soon as possible
Sweet, structured and perfumed wine. Very different from other wines. It does not need to accompany any delicacy. It is very pleasant to taste this wine very fresh. A discovery already shared with many friends.
Excellent, I've been a fan of this wine for a few years now, and it's in my top 10 for sweet white wine. Sweet just right and fruity, we drink it as an aperitif.
This Moelleux in the glass is greenish in colour, the nose a triumph of apricot, yellow apple and wild flowers, in the mouth it is sweet, but also fresh and with good acidity, it closes with a brackish finish, excellent with fruit and dry desserts served well chilled.
A dry white wine with perfect balance. Never disappointed by Horgelus, its fruitiness and power seduce us from the first sip. Round with pineapple or even mango notes. Enjoy it as an aperitif with tapas, olives...
I regularly use this wine and it is always a hit with my guests. Not too sweet and a more than correct price. It is one of the wines I always keep in reserve.
A Cote de Gascogne, very fruity and very successful but still quite sweet, at least sweeter than the Colombard Sauvignon. But it is still very well made, very fine, I would recommend it as an aperitif or dessert.
A beautiful sweet. An aromatic nose of yellow fruits and a floral side on the palate: it is gourmet! Some residual sugar but not too much, a nice dessert wine
Always delicious, this Butterfly Ball with its silky-sweet blend and big pansent grapes and luscious yellow fruit flavours. I highly recommend it with an unbeatable quality to price ratio
The Horgelus white wine "Le Bal des Papillons" is an ideal wine as an aperitif or with foie gras for those who do not like too sweet wines. Excellent quality to price ratio.
Excellent quality to price ratio: very well balanced, fruity, sweet on the palate, luscious but not syrupy. Ideal for an aperitif, serve chilled. This 2021 vintage is very fruity
Excellent fruity Gascony wine, to be drunk chilled, ideal for the aperitif, its low alcohol content is much appreciated by women, a sin mignon to be savoured
Excellent in all circumstances, as much in winter as in summer.
It can accompany all your meals, from the aperitif to the dessert. I appreciate it very much...
I find this wine fruity and sweet. I recommend it for people who like sweet wines.
A wine that I knew and that I had a real pleasure to rediscover! An excellent quality to price ratio! Really top, well chilled as an aperitif or with seafood!
The girls' favourite wine for apero, and it's true that it's a wine full of sweetness, very tasty, also goes very well with foie gras and gravelax salmon. A very good choice
The first of the horgelus house that I tasted in a small restaurant a few years ago. Sweet but not sweet, this subtle wine is very pleasant. I enjoy it as an aperitif as well as throughout the meal because it is never sickening. A real treat!
An excellent wine, both as an aperitif and at the table. It is so fruity and not very sweet. I really recommend it, already 5 orders on the Vinatis website for this exceptional wine
A just top wine not too sweet very very fruity recommended 100%. A sweet wine for the aperitif or the meals a price all soft as him besides do not hesitate!
Fruity, sweet, without being too sweet, not letting the sugar overpower the flavour. An excellent quality to price ratio for this estate, considering the simple pleasure it gives. A generous and simple wine to drink with friends.
It's great! Sweet and fruity as a dessert or as an aperitif, I recommend it 200% and the quality to price ratio is the best ! I will only order this one now.
We enjoyed Domaine Horgélus-Le Bal des Papillons 2021 during a meal with family and friends. We recommend it. I'm thinking of buying some more!
A wine that I love! Perfect as an aperitif, it's a great discovery at a very interesting price.
A fruity wine that I recommend and that we are now introducing to others.
Wine always appreciated, light, sweet, fruity, slightly sparkling, which conquered each time my guests, and created new followers of butterflies !!!!
A pure delight, a balance that never fails and a quality to price ratio to die for. The white flesh fruits associated with the exotic fruits explode on the palate, no heaviness, a point of acidity and freshness, it is a faultless wine.
A sublime wine! To delight the taste buds of your guests
Not too sweet but with that fruity touch that delights everyone! Don't hesitate if you don't know what to choose, it's made for you
Excellent quality to price ratio. Perfect for summer aperitifs! Freshness without excessive acidity or sweetness, I highly recommend. I'm going to take a box of these home for this summer!
I am a big fan of this variety for aperitif... Bal des Papillons has become my favourite white wine. It is fruity and sweet just right. To be drunk chilled.
Excellent, slightly tangy. A real pleasure!
A must-have with an excellent quality to price ratio. Sweet without being overpowering. Ideal as an aperitif during the meal or for dessert. To be served chilled, a real treat.
Delicious as an aperitif, at the table or in the evening, a great wine to serve chilled. I recommend 100% you will not be disappointed with this nectar of Gascony.
An astonishing wine with a very fresh flavour that brings out the sweetness of the gros-manseng and petit-manseng grapes while maintaining a perfect balance. Delicious with cheese and dessert.
Yes! Excellent wine recommended by a friend. The delivery was very fast and correct. I would recommend your site and will recommend it again soon and there may be special offers.
With this wine, summer finally begins! Fresh, soft, with the typical sweetness of the grape variety that is addictive. Classic fruity finish that does not cloy. To take back
The name of this wine speaks for itself - it is light, beautiful and perfect like a butterfly. Delicious as a snack, as a meal, anytime! Don't miss it!
Very aromatic!
This white wine, made from Petit Manseng and Gros Manseng grapes and produced by the Horgelus estate, is fruity and very pleasant to drink fresh. A very good quality to price ratio
A nice name for a very pleasant wine! The sweetness is balanced by a nice acidity which gives it a lot of freshness: a nice discovery, which I would recommend.
Probably our favourite white wine for its fruitiness, elegance and price. To be drunk from aperitif to dessert. Goes well with cheese.
A wine with an incredible quality to price ratio that has nothing to be ashamed of compared to its big brothers, the Uby and Tariquets. It is essential to have a few bottles in reserve.
Ideal for all moments of the meal, from aperitif to dessert, this wine goes with everything. Slightly fruity but far from sweet, it goes everywhere. A must
A wonderful wine. Nothing to say, this wine is perfect for an aperitif. Sweet just as it should be, slightly fruity, it will please the ladies, and the gentlemen of course. I highly recommend
A very pleasant wine, fresh on the palate and fruity, making it a good aperitif companion. At this price, I will not hesitate to recommend it once the stock is exhausted!
Quality to price ratio. Top quality. Excellent wine for aperitif, with foie gras.
Light and very fresh with a very sweet note that surprises. This surprising wine will be perfect for an aperitif or a dessert, without overpowering the dishes it accompanies
Magnificent symbiosis of the Manseng family (gros and petit), for a tenacious sweetness on a beautiful minerality. The fruitiness balances out as an aperitif and the quiet nervousness with fish. A real treat!
Drunk among friends during a summer evening
made an excellent impression when paired with melon and ham.
Apparently sweet but with a good acidity that refreshes the palate.
Good final persistence
A slightly sweet wine (not at all luscious), very fragrant and light on the palate. To be enjoyed as an aperitif and goes very well with fish and cheese. Superb discovery
My favourite white wine. Very fruity and sweet taste. I love the taste and aroma at a very affordable price. Very pleasant for a short break, an aperitif or a meal. A must try
A wine that makes everyone fall in love. Everyone who tastes it asks for more. As an aperitif or to accompany a home-made foie gras. A perfect wine.
Magnificent sweet white wine, made with a lemony finish on the palate.
Discovered by chance during a meal, it is a superb discovery. A real pleasure!
A fruity wine that delights everyone. The horgelus is excellent, perfect for the aperitif or to accompany a foie gras... A sure value, do not hesitate.
A perfect wine to discover the sweet Côtes de Gascogne whites and their Manseng grapes! What is most striking are the aromas of exotic fruits, especially passion fruit. Served with richness, a marvel!
A perfect white wine for an aperitif with friends, which drinks itself. Subtle aromas, a light sweet note, so it can also be served with dry white agreements.
Very good wine, for the aperitif a delight. I recommend it to all those who like this kind of white wine, a little sweet without anything too much. Order without hesitation.
Superb sweet and lemony wine. The Butterfly Ball plays nicely with your taste buds in a sweet/lemon register. A delightful aperitif, well chilled, I prefer it to champagne!
Ordered in perfect condition, everything arrived impeccably. And the wine was excellent. Nothing surprising for the Bal des Papillons, never disappointed with these bottles. A sure value!
Very good wine, sweet and fruity as it should be! Ideal for a small aperitif. The delivery was fast and the box was very solid. I will definitely order again!
Sweet, this wine has a remarkable balance between the residual sugar and the beautiful acidity typical of the gros-Manseng grape. I recommend this wine with my eyes closed

White with a golden yellow colour, clear and fairly consistent. Very intense and quite complex; hints of yellow and tropical fruits. Excellent value for money

Very good white wine between dry and luscious, perfect as an aperitif or with seafood, perfect! I recommend this wine to everyone!
A sweet, fruity and not too sweet wine. Excellent with foie gras or cheese platter.

Very good wine, sweet and fruity as it should be. The delivery was fast and the box was very solid. I will order again.
On the sunny slopes of Gascony, in the heart of the South-West, Domaine Horgelus continues to seduce with its pleasure wines accessible to the greatest number of people, taking the greatest care to preserve the aromas in the wines, and limiting at most all forms of oxidation of musts and wines, the result is fruity and the freshness of the wines is enchanting. Here is an area that has not finished talking about it!
