"A radiant and devilishly seductive white." Guide Hachette 2022
A perfectly ripe Chenin, born on a terroir of gravel, fossil sponges, red clay and flint. On the nose, harmonious and elegant notes of citrus fruit, apricot, acacia and honeysuckle emerge. Aromas prolonged by an ample, tender and pulpy palate, well accompanied by woody notes and underlined by the fine acidity of Chenin.

CHÂTEAU DE COULAINE

Located in the illustrious Véron region already sung by Rabelais, the Château de Coulaine is a very old family business whose wine-growing tradition has never been interrupted since 1300. From time immemorial, the vine has enjoyed sinking its roots into the land surrounding the château, which was rebuilt in the 15th century. In 1988, Etienne de Bonnaventure undertook the expansion of the vineyard, which now covers 12 hectares, organically grown. This personal choice is part of the ongoing search for a harmonious balance between tradition and modernity.
