LEAVE YOUR REVIEWVery good Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Still needs a little bottle ageing. Ruby red. Red fruit and blueberry on the nose. On the palate firm tannins, fruit and high acidity that will be tamed until it reaches a better balance. Still a very good young wine.
Very good Châteauneuf du Pape. Still a little young in my opinion. It deserves to be left to age for 3 to 4 years so that its aromas develop further. I will recommend it to my friends.
An elegant, powerful but very fresh Châteauneuf du Pape, due to its high-altitude vineyards. No heaviness. Iconoclastic for a Châteauneuf du Pape. One of my favourites of the appellation.
With the courage of their convictions and tireless work, these Gigondas wine-makers have replaced olive trees with vines. And they have made a name for themselves. A rare, wild bird oversees the vineyard here - the Eurasian eagle owl, known as Canta duc in Provençal, has become Santa Duc over time. Located at the foot of the small chain of mountains, the Dentelles de Montmirail, the Santa Duc vineyards flourish with the indulgent touch of Yves Gras, the wine-maker who is as diligent as he is ambitious. Passionate about observing, he takes the time to consider nature to better understand and sense each and every vintage as it unfolds. He lends extreme significance to each stage of the wine-making process and this exacting approach is reflected in his generous, meaty and concentrated wines - lauded many times by Robert Parker.
