LES COPAINS D'ABORD MOELLEUX 2019 - DOMAINE BORDENAVE

0,75 L White Wine / France / South West France / Jurançon AOC / 13 % vol / 100% Gros Manseng

Independent winemakers High Environmental Value certification
Referenced by the specialized press, Les Copains d'Abord is an authentic wine, an epicurean prelude to moments shared with friends!
The Bordenave estate, located in the heart of the Jurançon appellation, in Monein, is one of the oldest properties in the region, operated from father to daughter and son since 1676. The sweet wine Les Copains d'Abord is made from old vines of Gros Manseng harvested by successive sorting, then matured on fine lees in vats and barrels for a year and a half. On the nose, this sweet Jurançon expresses exuberant and flattering scents of exotic fruits and white flowers. On the palate, we find a mellow structure which makes it a constant, delicate and fine wine with a fine line of acidity and a texture of beautiful purity. Ideal as an aperitif, to savour in the company of friends with a few toast of foie gras or as a dessert, it will also accompany a cheese platter.

DOMAINE BORDENAVE

The Bordenave estate, located in the heart of the Jurançon appellation, in Monein, is one of the oldest properties in the region, operated from father to son and daughter since 1676. Following significant investments in the cellars and from the restructuring of the vineyard, the estate presented its first vintage in 1993. Bordenave is all the dedication of a family to exalting the essence of a terroir. Here, our ties are old, sincere and generous, and we have always remained humble in the face of the strength of the earth and the value of every moment. Making Jurançon is a school of art and patience. An art where time is never really controlled because we always favor the permanent search for quality over quantity, from the vine to the bottle that we are going to uncork. "As far back as I can remember, my childhood has always been set in the majestic environment of the vineyards. When I was little, I followed my parents in the vineyards and in the cellars and I was already fascinated by all the magic that surrounds the warm world of wine. Later, introduced to the vocabulary and then to the real science of wine knowledge, I learned that tasting wine is both an art and a profession. "
