Very open on the nose on citrus fruits and minerality. The structure on the palate offers us a lot of body, a salty side, good acidity (candied lemon) and a nice finish with light woody notes.more reviews

Excellent value for money for this dry Jurançon with a very nice balance, expressive with a certain roundness. A pure pleasure!
The Bordenave estate, located in the heart of the Jurançon appellation, in Monein, is one of the oldest properties in the region, run by father, daughter and son since 1676. Les Copains d'Abord sec is a Jurançon made from old Gros Manseng vines harvested at the beginning of October, and matured on fine lees in vats and barrels for 9 months before bottling. Pale gold in colour with golden highlights, the nose reveals very expressive aromas of fresh fruit and subtle floral notes. The palate is well balanced between the freshness, the fruit and the roundness brought by the long maturation on the lees, which also brings a slight woody influence. The substance is well present to ensure a good evolution in the cellar, but you will certainly enjoy it now with fish or shellfish for example!

DOMAINE BORDENAVE

The Bordenave estate, located in the heart of the Jurançon appellation, in Monein, is one of the oldest properties in the region, operated from father to son and daughter since 1676. Following significant investments in the cellars and from the restructuring of the vineyard, the estate presented its first vintage in 1993. Bordenave is all the dedication of a family to exalting the essence of a terroir. Here, our ties are old, sincere and generous, and we have always remained humble in the face of the strength of the earth and the value of every moment. Making Jurançon is a school of art and patience. An art where time is never really controlled because we always favor the permanent search for quality over quantity, from the vine to the bottle that we are going to uncork. "As far back as I can remember, my childhood has always been set in the majestic environment of the vineyards. When I was little, I followed my parents in the vineyards and in the cellars and I was already fascinated by all the magic that surrounds the warm world of wine. Later, introduced to the vocabulary and then to the real science of wine knowledge, I learned that tasting wine is both an art and a profession. "
