HERITAGE "AN 1877" - SAINT CHINIAN 2019 - GERARD BERTRAND

0,75 L Red Wine / France / Languedoc-Roussillon / Saint-Chinian AOC / 15 % vol

Discover the expertise of Gérard Bertrand in this rich and intense wine with its velvety finish!
The 1877 range is a tribute to modern times, the revolution of the steam engine and the first Saint-Chinian railway line that helped carry the wines of the region to the capitals. With a predominantly manual harvesting of the best plots, nearly a third of the wine is aged for nine months in oak barrels, the rest being preserved in vats. This wine is rich and sweet, typical of its appellation, with pure and complex flavours of black fruit and sweet spices.
