LEAVE YOUR REVIEWRemarkable with an excellent quality to price ratio. I had a bottle in my cellar given to me by a friend some time ago and after tasting it, I placed this order on Vinatis. Great delivery!
Tasted at the same time as a Yquem and a Klein Constantia of the same year, a Sauternes equal to the greatest. A taste of dry apricot with a great length, a real success for this 2007. To be renewed!
Exceptional wine, true to the reputation of Sauternes.
Excellent wine, sweet, full of aromas and sweetness. A wine that can be served as an aperitif, with foie gras or with a dessert.
A truly superlative bottle, an extensively long and pleasant sip. Perfect with blue cheeses. I found it even exceeding expectations. Absolutely not to be missed!
The nose is expressive with toasted notes and freshness. The palate is tangy with pastry aromas. Freshness and length. A great success.
A magnificent colour and very marked aromas (apricot and honey in the first place). It was the perfect accompaniment to a hearty Christmas meal and will surely be ordered again at a later date.
Excellent quality to price ratio. Never disappointed with a Château Suduiraut. An amber colour, notes of honey. As usual I would recommend this Sauternes.
We saw this Sauternes with richness on Christmas Eve. The guests were unanimous: it is excellent. We regret not having bought more.
Superb bottle and superb wine! Exceptional honey colour. This year is very successful in Sauternes and particularly at Château Suduiraut.
Complex palate, honeyed, sweet, but not heavy... A real nectar to drink now.
Tasted in a vertical together with the 2010 and 2001, I must say that this is a product of excellence, a wonderful vintage that still retains a great freshness.
An infinite delicacy. I had wanted to taste this wine for a long time and we were not disappointed. On the other hand, to ensure that one tastes in the company of this GREAT wine, for my part I had dared for a foie gras... Wonderful!
Domaine de Suduiraut extends over 200 hectares with 90 hectares being given over to cultivate vines on a soil that's predominantly sandy-clay gravel. The vineyard grows 90% Semillon and 10% Sauvignon. The proximity of the Ciron and Garronne rivers gives the area an autumn microclimate characterised by misty mornings followed by warm, sunny afternoons. In 1958, the domaine took the name Suduiraut after the marriage of Nicole d'Allard to Léonard de Suduiraut. The château was plundered and burnt down during the Fronde insurrection, to then be rebuilt in the 17th century and renamed Cru du Roy at the end of 18th century. It has then been revived by Jean Joseph Duroy, Baron de Noaillan, the nephew of the Suduirait family. The family home acquired a cartouche depicting the Suduiraut and Duroy coats of arms, forming the basis for the crest now used by Château Suduiraut. The domaine features French-style gardens designed by Le Nôtre, the famous gardener to Louis XIV, which have been enhanced by its owners. On 18 April 1855, the domaine was listed as a Sauternes Premier Cru during the classification of Gironde wines.Taken over by AXA Millésimes in 1992, its mission was to preserve and uphold the great expertise in history and in wine making. It intended that the great wines that had been produced in the past could achieve and express their full potential.
