I opened the first bottle at Easter to accompany the cheese board. Its density and aromatic length in the mouth are a marvel. A great discovery for all the guests.more reviews

Characteristic of the great wines of the appellation, this Puisseguin-Saint-Emilion is a pleasant and flattering wine!
The Château de Roques vineyard is located on a clay-limestone plateau at an altitude of 90 m. The 2018 Château de Roques is aged half in vats and half in barrels. A crystalline cherry-red colour with ruby highlights, the nose is fruity (ripe red fruit). The structure is elegant, fine and harmonious. The palate is very dense, well-balanced and well-structured. The finish is chewy, with good substance and a long aromatic persistence.

A very nice wine on the palate, I tasted it as an accompaniment to an aperitif based on charcuterie and cheese, it raises the flavours in the mouth nicely.

Great wine, well structured, tannic, with a nose of ripe red fruit, velvety but powerful and aromatic on the palate, long finish, to drink and to keep. Bravo!
